Procedure of placing dental implants

Dental implants also known as teeth implants are titanium roots that are fixed in a human jaw. This root works as an anchor to the crown or an artificial tooth. A drill machine is used to create a hole within the jaw. The pace at which the drill machine moves is highly controlled to avoid affecting force necrosis to the jawbone. Once the implant is fixed in the jaw, the flap above is sealed with stitches. The implant is left for 3 a period of three months after this. During this period the implant fuses with the jaw bone.
